Producers ask whether they need a faster GPU to “run AI on the mix.” For MixMaster Pro the answer is no: you bounce, upload, and the analyzers run on our servers. A stronger GPU still helps local work - real-time plugin graphs, local stem models, video, and sample libraries - but it does not change the MixMaster report.
MixMaster Pro analyzes your stereo bounce and guides fixes in your DAW. It does not master your track, apply processing to your audio, or replace listening on monitors you trust.

What MixMaster Pro uses instead
Mix analysis, Professional modules (stems, lyrics, chords), and Maya run after upload. The browser needs a stable connection and enough RAM to stay on the page. It does not require WebGPU, CUDA, or a discrete graphics card. If a local GPU tool already split stems, you can still upload the stereo bounce (or a stem) to MixMaster Pro for mix scoring and revision history - those are different jobs.
When hardware still matters for mixing
- CPU and RAM for the DAW session: plugin count, sample rate, and buffer size decide dropout long before GPU mix analysis does.
- Monitors and the room decide whether you trust the bounce you upload. A fast GPU will not fix a lying playback chain.
- Upload size and network: a 24-bit WAV bounce is enough; you do not need to render a GPU-accelerated “AI mix” first.
