Music Has No Barriers. Neither Should Our Platform.

Last updated: 2026-03-08

At MixMaster Pro we believe every producer, engineer, and artist deserves a first-class experience - regardless of ability. We build with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA as our north star and continuously raise the bar so nothing stands between you and your best mix.

Conformance Status

MixMaster Pro is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are committed to closing remaining gaps and regularly audit our platform to improve conformance. This commitment extends to our obligations under the European Accessibility Act (EAA), which applies to digital services available to EU users.

How We Make It Happen

Full Keyboard Control

You should never need a mouse to get things done. Every dialog, menu, slider, accordion, and carousel in MixMaster Pro is fully keyboard-accessible. Visible focus indicators keep you oriented, handy shortcuts speed up your workflow, and every custom control responds to Enter and Space just like a native button.

Built for Screen Readers

We use ARIA labels, expanded states, live regions, and descriptions across the entire interface so your assistive technology always has the full picture. Icon-only buttons include hidden text for screen readers, form errors are announced the moment they appear, and toast notifications are read aloud without stealing your focus.

Clean, Semantic Structure

Under the hood every page is built with proper HTML landmarks - header, nav, main, footer, and section - giving assistive technology a clear outline to navigate. The document language is set so screen readers pronounce content correctly, form labels are explicitly linked to their inputs, and every image carries meaningful alt text that describes what you are looking at.

Comfortable Visuals & Motion

Our dark-themed interface pairs high-contrast text with a consistent color palette designed for readability. Layouts adapt smoothly to different screen sizes and zoom levels up to 200%. If your operating system is set to reduce motion, we respect that preference and tone down animations. Dialogs trap focus and always include clear titles and descriptions so you are never lost.

Always Improving

Accessibility is a journey, not a checkbox. We regularly audit our platform against WCAG 2.1 AA and the European Accessibility Act to identify and resolve issues. If something gets in your way, we want to hear about it - and we will prioritize a fix.
